tho it would be nice to have the mark II ....i just cant see that in my near future lol...i unless i can find a camera place where i can Rent to own... |
Yeah, I was at first looking at the old one, but then I discovered that the new one costs "only" 500 € (~ 750 $) more, and has lots of features that are worth investing in ... especially that ISO 50 is available!
I personally definetly get a new body in '09. I was actually going for the 50D, but it also has the 1.6 crop which keeps messing with me ... so I thought about the 5D, since it takes amazing pics, and costs only little more than a 50D body! |
Yea..definally A good purchase....I just wish I would have Known about the Release of it, waaay ahead of time...I could have been doing some saving and Reserving it....for the future....But I am glad that whenever i am able to get it, all i would have to purchase is the body....so it wont be as much... _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/bryantdigital/

That being said, I can open the file in DPP, Adobe Bridge, and CS2 without any problems... Would you mind sending me one of his RAW files to see if I can open it up? Send it to "airbphoto@yahoo.com" and I'll check it out... Peace...
- airbutchie | sorry for the late response...but i figured it out....i just simply renamed and added .CR2 at the end...and that worked...thanks tho... |

Was that on craigslist or someting local? Most of the ones I see on POTN are still in the ~$1500 range... |
it was on craiglist for my area (toronto)....i've seen a few that went $1200 but yea the norm is $1500 on POTN _________________ My Collection

ISO measures your camera sensor's sensitivity to light. The higher the ISO, the more sensitive, which requires less light to achieve a proper exposure, allowing for faster shutter speeds.

IMO, either a Canon 20D/30D. Do some research on them. You can find used 20D's for aroudn $350-400 now, and 30D's for around $500. Awesome deals for the camera you get. _________________ -flickr

Hey guys, i was on the bestbuy website browsing and came across two sections. One being advanced and the other being Digital LSR
What is the difference besides the tremendous price increase to the LSR? I know there's something I'm missing obviously, but is the "advanced" Nikon's any good?

^The LSR enables you to interchange the lenses that you may buy.. canon and nikon have a HUGE selection to chose from that fit on their cameras and there are other companies that make lenses too.
With the advanced you will not to be able to change lenses and I'm telling you it's really worth it.
Put your money into a DSLR. _________________

So the DSLR, would classify as the advanced on the site?
Go easy on me, I'm pretty retarded when it comes to the whole camera scene. _________________ PEOPLE WHO CONTACT AND EXPECT YOU TO SHIP FIRST :

Well see I checked out the best buy website and you clicked on point and shoot and then hit advanced, if y ou are looking for a DSLR you should click the DSLR link on the side in the digital camera section.
Point and shoots are not the same as DSLRs. _________________
