real clean pieces to the last few that posted! the spacejam text is killin me, but the vector is just so on point. props guys.
and to the one that asked - i got my bfa in graphic design last may from sva.

I'm going to school for Graphic Design right now, but getting the damned general requirements out of the way first... I had a ton of Illustrator experience in High School though (I actually ended up teaching my Graphic Design/Production teacher more about Illustrator then she knew). Sadly, all my work got deleted when I graduated so I have nothing to show... and since I have no Illustrator on my comp I can't contribute but I'd like too... I'll look around for some REALLY early work.
Illustrator is a much better tool for a lot things than Photoshop IMO. Especially for designing logos (which I like to do.)
Do you have a job in Graphic Design? I've come to already realize it's CRUCIAL to have connects so I've stayed really close to my high school teacher even though she kind of annoys me but she LOVES me... I might end up going to a better place to get a better degree after getting an AAAS in community college. You're really talented so it's no surprise you got in. It's a damn shame some design companies look more at degrees and schooling then actual talent. Nice works so far.

Good to hear you're going to school for gd. Any ideas where you want to transfer to? Going for your bfa isn't really necessary, but if it's at a good school and you can afford it, then i'd absolutely recommend it. Especially if the school doesn't give you ish about transferring credit (b/c i had a lot of friends that had issues applying previous credits from other schools).
I work for the skate company CCS at the moment, doing work on their brand. It's good stuff, not really the general graphic design job where you set type and do things of that nature. But ofcourse, I always end up doing that stuff for that freelance loot.

Krome just got to say seeing your work made me get back into the vectoring, i gotta step my game up now...lol, im going to work on a few kicks vectors next, you all probably saw my car obsession for a while, they just took so much time i got out of it

hey AirNikeNick23 (and any other working graphic designers or students of graphic design),
a friend of mine recommended this book, 'seventy nine short essays on design' by michael bierut, and i'm personally recommending it to all my design friends. you NEED this book in your life, no joke. i can't speak highly enough about it, with the high level of inspiration it gives off. i'm talking to some past professors and trying to convince them to throw this book in the curriculum.
get it new or used on amazon. ebay. whatever, just get it.
