As many of you know - the sneaker community lost one of their freshest souls earlier this year. As a community we came together and raised money for the Sydni fund. We raised $635 through the forum and Sole Collector is going to add an additional $635 so our total today is $1,270. Part of the money Sole Collector added came from the banners we hosted on the site - so it was a win - win for all of those who clicked on them.
Our last phase to add to this fund is the auction of 8 pairs of kicks. When I heard the news about Sydni I reached out to Eastbay to see if they would be willing to donate some kicks for the fund - and they came through with the kicks below. The auction links will be posted here as soon as they are live (Which should be very, very soon.). Please bid generously as 100% of the bid goes to the Sydni fund. Once all of the shoes are auctioned off we will post the ending tally and we'll present a nice check to Sydni's family.
Thanks to all of those who have worked so hard on creating this fund - and thanks to everyone who has supported Sydni. This is just another example of how our community is strong - we help people in need and I'm damn proud of that.
