There are absolutely no exceptions to any of the Marketplace rules. By posting in the Marketplace, you agree to be held liable for any infraction of these rules. Not knowing any of these rules is NOT a valid excuse for any infractions.
Rules for Listing Forums
- Sizes of shoe(s) or size range MUST be in subject heading.
- Picture Requirements:
- At least two clear pictures are required of each item you are listing.
- Visible in each picture must be a piece of paper with your SC Forums username written on it. A paper tag is required - having an object "represent" your tag is not in compliance with this rule.
- You can host pictures using any hosting site, or our own Album.
- Pictures must be of your actual items; stock photos or another user's pictures will not suffice.
- You must be the owner of ALL items you sell! Listing items on behalf of another person will result in a ban, without warning.
- You are permitted one listing per forum. Please edit your current listing with inventory updates instead of creating a new one.
- Bumps to your listing are permitted once every 48 hours. You can only reply to your own listings.
- You must have been an SC member for at least 90 days and have at least 50 posts to post a new listing. Free posting to reach 50 posts is not tolerated.
- All your items must fall under the correct listing forum (Sizes 8.5 and under, Sizes 9-10.5, Sizes 11 and up, and Listings: Other Stuff).
- Detailed information about the item(s) is required. It is required to include all details on the condition of the items - including marks, scuffs, etc. Failing to report any info regarding an item is prohibited and considered fraud.
- Weapons and illegal items are strictly prohibited from being listed. Raffles, contests, and other gimmicks are prohibited.
- Once an agreement has been reached, do not delete any pictures or details from the listing as they are needed for reference.
General Marketplace Rules
- Variant or counterfeit items are prohibited from being listed, sold, or traded. Both users should perform a legit check BEFORE selling or purchasing any items. Any members posting counterfeit items in the Marketplace, whether intentionally or not, will be banned without exception or warning. If you are unsure whether an item is authentic, DO NOT list it.
- SoleCollector.com is not responsible for any transactions made on this website. While we try to prevent and resolve fraud, you assume all risk of using the Marketplace. If you believe you have been defrauded, see here.
- Members with -5 feedback are banned from the Marketplace and should be avoided at all costs.
- Keyword spamming is prohibited. Violations will result in your post being edited, locked, or deleted.
- Rules are subject to change without notice. By posting in the Marketplace, you are hereby agreeing to adhere to these rules. There are no exceptions to the above rules under any circumstances. Repeated rule violations will result in a ban from the Marketplace and/or board indefinitely.
Rules for Wanted Forums
- Attempting to use the Wanted forums to sell or trade your items is strictly prohibited. First time violations will result in a ban from the board or Marketplace. These forums should be used to list items you are currently looking for, not items you currently have.
- You are permitted one topic per forum. Please edit your current topic with updates instead of creating a new one.
- Bumps are permitted once every 48 hours. You may only post in your own wanted thread. Users should use private messages to contact topic posters if they have items that fit their wanted list.
- Please post your wanted thread in the correct forum (Sizes 8.5 and under, Sizes 9-10.5, Sizes 11 and up, or Wanted: Other Stuff).
- Include the brand, model, and colorway of the shoe you are looking for. A picture of the shoe is optional, but helpful.
- Include the size, condition, and price range you are willing to pay.
