Hello. Just today I realised that I am in possession of fake XX3 All Stars. Here are some pictures, which will describe the differences between the legit and the fake shoes.
   
   
1. The pattern of MJ written on the side of the shoe is with a wrong tilt
2.MJ signature on the red area on the nose of the shoe is written with a silver/grey colour.
3.The brink of the leather is unevenly and disorderly cut
4.The thumbprint sole should be white not gray.
5.The carbon fibre plate (which probably is not carbon fibre) should be in dark green and grey, not black and grey.
*The place for the DVD should be on the bottom of the box, not on the top.
*The DVD should be a DVD, not a CD. The disk looks exactly like the original, so there is no point in posting the picture. But on the other side of the CD there is a small circle. Just like the one on those disks you burn at home. The original DVD probably shouldn't have this burning mark.
*The laces should be coloured white, not black.

IDENTIFYING FAKE AIR JORDAN VI: BLACK/DEEP INFA RED (1999-2000 release)

FAKE AIR JORDAN VI'S
*PLEASE NOTE: the #6 picture is for the fake air jordan vi size tag, I don't have any pictures.
#6, see below. (fake size tag)
1. The midsole colors are way too glossy. First sign of fakes, one of the easiest to determine. Shoes are very glossy in any type of light, whether it be the flash from a camera to natural, bright sunlight.
2. The air bubble is red. Real air bubbles are white (or off white, not completely sure), not red.
3. Back of the shoes. Since they were never re-retroed, the latest release was '99-'00, so they don't have a Jumpman air sign on the back. For a ebtter view check out picture #10.
4. Soles are WAY too icy and clear, sometimes they're shiny. FAKES.
5. Picture of a fake retro card. Sometimes they're hard to see the differences, but the material used, etc. is all fake.
6. FAKE AIR JORDAN VI INFARED SIZE TAG. PLEASE ADD PICTURES.
7. Fake air Jordan VI tongue. The tongue is black, not red.
8. Another fake sole, the part that is red is supposed to be black. The black jumpman has to be red, not black. Also see the extremely icy and shiny soles.
9. Another fake retro card. The white border should be black.
10. NOTE: THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN FROM THE CDP CARMINE VI'S. This is how the fake black infared back side looks like. However, since this was from a different shoe, the red jumpman is normally black no the fake VI's. The real back size should have a black Nike Air sign on the back.
REAL PICTURES:
*colors are not TOO shiny, perfect balance in the lighting. Color isn't red, it's infared, that's why it's somewhat lighter.
*NIKE AIR on the back, not some variant jumpman air thing on the back.
*Clear soles, not extremely icy with a blue tint or shiny soles, etc.
*real retro card
*real size tag, other possibilities with the factory codes are:
000406 LN3 China, 000608 LN3 China
*ANYONE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD PICS OF A FAKE SIZE TAG (at #6), THANKS.

Ok.....I did some homework. Sorry for crappy picture quality, but hopefully it's "insightful". Feel free to add more if needed. The legit CDP3 picture is courtesy of SoleSeeker.
1: On CDP 3, the letter "A" is more "pointy" at the top. Also, letter "R" is more balance.
Fake 3, the letter "A" is more "square" at the top. And letter "R" is not balanced.
2: On CDP 3: the upper rubber heel is more equally cut compared to Fake 3.
3: On CDP 3: the grey outsole is more thicker than Fake 3.
4: On CDP 3, elephan print is more thicker and bolder. Also on CDP 3, it has double stitching.
1: Again, the stitching on CDP 3 is more consistent.
2: On CDP3, the elephant print is more thicker and bolder. Also, the width is not as wide as the fake one.
3: Unfortunately, the pic is not clear enough, but on CDP3, the hole pattern is lot smaller and closer to one another.
4: On CDP 3, the liner is black compared to grey color on the fake 3. This is one of the most obvious ones.
5: On CDP 3, the tounge has lighter grey color compared to fake 3. Also, the Jumpman is bigger.
The tag on CDP 3 is NOT on the tounge.
Overall, you can tell the the fake 3 has crappy stitching and leather material compared to CDP 3. |

I would like to be apart of that but I don't agree that you guys don't like to give legit checks if the pics are untagged.
Why is this a problem "Pics are legit, but get tagged photos to be sure".
Suppose the scenario is this;
Poster sees the shoes ending in 4 hours....well he's not sure if they are legit...he's a noob.
Well he comes here to get advice or an answer.
Response from you guys are "Follow the rules".
Now maybe that seller checks his messages frequently...but it's highly unlikely. Even so, you know people work, so he might not be with the shoes to take the requested photos.
So what do you advise the Poster to do?
Not bid? That's a little unfair imo.
Also, if you guys didn't know, the majority of items on eBay are UNTAGGED. The amount of sellers who have NO idea what a tagged photo is, far outnumber us, on these forums, who do.
Finally why are live auctions allowed to be posted.
Rule should be post pictures within said auction and not the auction itself.

I see what you are saying, it is an argumentative rule. The reason we ask for tagged pics is to prove ownership in order to prevent frauds/scams.
